Conservatory Styles

We make each Safechoice conservatory to order using high quality materials and the latest technologies. You can choose from a range of existing styles that we will expertly match to your property, or create a completely custom design. Here's an overview of styles.

Lean – To Style Options

This smaller lean-to or sun-lounge style has been designed to provide your house with a bright and airy environment. The roof style can be adapted for most properties thanks to its ability to be built with a variable pitch. A lean-to or sun-lounge is the obvious choice where a low angle of rood pitch is required. The Safechoice low pitch roof can be attached to the fascia boards of a bungalow and can be used where a house window over the proposed roof is too low to accommodate anything else.

Victorian Style Options

This popular Victorian style conservatory, distinguished by a faceted front giving a curved appearance, has been designed to provide a classic appearance and let in large quantities of light. Although a particular favourite with period properties, its clean lines make this a winner on any type of home.

P-Shape

The P-shape offers masses of light and space, whilst providing the versatility of being used as one large conservatory or two adjoining conservatory rooms. Many P-shaped conservatories have separately defined dining and relaxing areas, resulting in it becoming an integral part of the home.

Georgian Style Options

The flat-fronted Georgian conservatory is a popular style due to its streamlined elegant structure and the ease of fitting furniture into its rectangular shape. The simple structure means the Georgian conservatory lends itself well to small or unusually shaped spaces. The design also provides a spacious feel to even the most modest of conservatories.

Gable Fronted Style Options

Gable Fronted Conservatories are a variant of the Georgian conservatory and use the same basic square footprint but instead the front of the roof is upright like the gable end of a house, providing a continuation of image.  This flat gable front helps maximise natural light flowing into the conservatory.

T-Shape

As with the P-Shape, this style is more suited to larger properties. A combination style that’s distinguished by a central projection that can either be a Victorian, Gable or Georgian. A T-Shape offers a large and versatile floor space and is an impressive addition to any home.

Lantern

The ‘original’ conservatory style, a lantern guarantees drama and grandeur. Distinguished by the two-tiered feature roof, the height within a Lantern adds an extra dimension to the feeling of light and space. A popular choice for swimming pool enclosures and indoor "party areas".

Custom

Although the shapes and designs shown are all bespoke, you may have your very own ‘one-off’, exceptional or unique idea. Speak to your Safechoice designer so that you can create your very own unique conservatory to suit your needs to a bespoke level and everything you could want from a conservatory.
